Delete your FounderDex account
You can delete your FounderDex account and the data linked to it at any time. Do it here, in the app, or by email. This page covers the FounderDex apps for Android and iPhone and the website.
Option 1: Delete it here

Sign in with the Google account you use in FounderDex, then confirm. You come back to this page after signing in.

Delete your FounderDex account?
This permanently deletes your account, profile and profile photo. This cannot be undone.
Your FounderDex account and its data were deleted. You can close this page. If you still have the app installed, it signs you out the next time you open it.
Option 2: Delete it in the app
- Open FounderDex.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete.
If you use FounderDex as a guest (without signing in), this clears the profile stored on your device. Nothing about you is on our servers.
Option 3: Ask us by email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" from the Google email address you use in FounderDex. We confirm and delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you write from a different address, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
What gets deleted
Right away, and permanently:
- your account: name, email address, Google profile picture link and Google account identifier,
- your sign in tokens and all active sessions,
- your profile: display name, headline, company, city, links, favorite founders and interests,
- your profile photos.
In the app, deleting also clears the profile saved on your device.
What is not deleted automatically
- Founder submissions and card removal requests. These forms are not linked to your account. To delete them, email us from the address you used in the form.
- Wallet passes you saved. Apple and Google store these. Remove them in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
- Google sign in access. To remove FounderDex from your Google Account, go to myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Short lived copies. Deleted photos may stay in our content delivery cache for a short time before they expire, and our database provider keeps point in time history for up to 30 days before it is overwritten. Rate limit records hold only a one way hash of your network address and are not linked to your account.
